Jeff proposed to me last Valentine’s Day. Of course not wanting to do anything like everyone else, he did it over the phone when he called me from his missions trip in the Philippines. So when our due date in early February came and went, we thought it would be cool if the baby arrived this Valentine’s Day. Although I went into labor that evening, baby Asher didn’t arrive until 4:20 in the morning on the 15th. Close enough
Asher was born at DePaul in Norfolk. Our labor and delivery nurse Amanda was awesome. And Nell, one of the midwives, was wonderful as well. In fact, everyone we met during our short stay was great!
Asher was 10 lbs 5.5 oz and 21 inches long
